What teams bring us
The problems nobody wants to hand a chatbot.
The system that has run the business for twenty years. The workflow that still needs a human in the loop. The question of which model to trust with real decisions. That is where we start.
Legacy systems
Decades-old code becomes plain-English rules your team can read, each one traced to the exact line it came from, before anything is rewritten.
Core banking, claims and billing systems, read line by line.
Critical workflows
Agents take on the manual middle of your operations and send the exceptions to a person, with every decision logged and reviewable.
Fraud operations, lending, intake and approvals, with a person accountable.
Agent access
We add an MCP layer to the systems you already run, from ERP and core platforms to CRM and the warehouse, so agents can use them without a migration.
A headless interface on top of what you own.
Frontier questions
Which model, which harness, which guardrails. We answer with evals on your data and your constraints, not with vendor benchmarks.
Research-grade evals, production-grade answers.
How we work
Bring us the problem.
We bring the factory.
Three steps, one accountable team. Our engineers sit inside your workflow, build on a production system that traces every change, and stay through adoption.
Bring us the big, gnarly problem.
You know the business. What is missing is the time, or the confidence to hand AI a system you cannot afford to get wrong.
Our forward-deployed engineers build with your team.
Embedded in your context, on the ARC Software Factory, where every change is traced to your intent, reviewed by a person and tested before it ships.
Your team runs it. We carry the complexity.
You keep your tools and your data. We host it, maintain it and keep it current as the business and the models change.
Start small
Start with one problem.
Pick one workflow and see how we work before you take on more. A scoped pilot ships to production in four to six weeks.
Go big
Bring us the whole thing.
Legacy modernization, a new platform, an agent layer across the enterprise. We scope the bigger picture with you and build toward it.
The ARC Software Factory
Business intent in.
Governed software out.
A factory is not a tool. It is a system of production that starts from what the business needs, keeps intent, code and tests in sync, and stands behind the output. Ours runs on frontier models, inside the tools your engineers already use.
Intent
Captured in plain English, so everyone agrees on what is being built before any code exists.
Blueprint
Intent becomes a technical design your engineers review and sign off on.
Work orders
Tasks executed by engineers and their agents over MCP, in Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code.
Verify and feed back
Tests, reviews and production feedback close the loop and keep intent, code and tests in sync.
Illustrative trace: every unit of output carries its lineage, from the requirement that created it to the person who approved it.
What makes it a factory, not a tool
It starts from business intent.
The input is what the business needs, in the language of the business. Not a ticket written by one engineer for another.
It stays coherent under change.
Change the requirement and the code changes. Hotfix the code and the requirement updates. Drift is the real enemy.
It does not depend on a hero.
Knowledge compounds in the system, not in individuals. Quality is a property of the line, not the operator.
Every output is traceable.
This rule exists because of this requirement, approved by this person, implemented in this change, verified by this test.
Someone answers for the product.
When it breaks in production, we take the call. That obligation is what separates a factory from a developer tool.
Forward-deployed engineering
Close to the problem.
Accountable for the build.
The best requirements live in a conversation, a workaround, or the way someone actually gets the job done. Our forward-deployed engineers work alongside your team to uncover that context and turn it into a working system, connecting business priorities to product decisions, integrations and implementation.
Embedded in the context
Work directly with the stakeholders and users who know the process, in the functions where the work happens.
Hands-on in delivery
Shape the architecture, build the software, own the technical decisions, review and verification.
Present through adoption
Help your team understand the system, define its operating model and keep it improving after release.
The lab inside the factory
Frontier research,
applied to production.
ARC is a research lab first. The work we publish on agentic systems, governance and data sovereignty is the same work that decides which model runs your workflow, how it is evaluated, and how it is held accountable.
Model-agnostic. Harness-agnostic.
Claude, GPT, Gemini and open-weight models, with US-hosted options. Each task is routed to the model best suited to it, inside Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code.
Evals and governance.
Eval suites built on your data, red-teaming before release, and a moral architecture for agentic systems that we research and publish.
Research that ships.
Planetary-scale data intelligence, agent orchestration and customer intelligence work that started in the lab now runs inside client systems.
Ways to work together
Start with the opportunity.
Choose the right commitment.
A focused first build, a partner inside the team, or an ongoing product relationship. We shape the engagement around the work, and scope, deliverables and commercial terms are agreed after discovery.
A focused start
Scoped pilot
Resolve one important question with a defined first build, in production in four to six weeks.
- One priority workflow or system
- Agreed scope and acceptance tests
- A working release, not a slide deck
- A clear decision on what comes next
For teams with a specific opportunity to validate.
A dedicated build partner
Embedded build
Forward-deployed engineers inside your team, building on the factory.
- Embedded discovery and delivery
- Custom applications and integrations
- Collaborative reviews and release decisions
- Documentation and team enablement
For teams ready to build a meaningful internal or customer-facing system.
A continuous product relationship
Managed evolution
Keep the software current as the business, the data and the models change.
- A prioritized improvement backlog
- Agreed maintenance and support scope
- Integration and model adaptation
- Ongoing review of quality and usefulness
For teams that want a partner beyond the first release.
Before we build
Good questions.
Clear answers.
An engagement with a software factory should be easy to understand before it starts.
How is this different from an AI coding assistant?
A coding assistant takes an engineering task and hands back code; verification and accountability stay with you. The factory starts from business intent, keeps requirements, design, code and tests in sync, produces the audit trail as a by-product, and we stand behind what ships.
Does it work on our existing systems and data?
Yes. We start by reading what you have: codebases, APIs, permissions and data. Existing systems can be reverse-engineered into requirements and blueprints, and integrations are scoped around what is available and approved.
Where do AI agents fit, and who owns the decisions?
Agents execute scoped work orders: drafting implementation, exploring code, preparing tests. Engineers own architecture, review and verification. Model choice, tools, data access and human checkpoints are agreed for the engagement.
What does a forward-deployed engineer actually do?
They work inside your team to understand the operating context, translate it into technical decisions and help deliver the application, from discovery through release and adoption. The role connects the details of the business to the details of the build.
What can we show an auditor or a regulator?
A trace for every unit of output: the requirement it came from, the person who approved it, the change that implemented it, the test that verified it and when it was deployed. Provenance is built into the line, not written up afterwards.
Can it run in our environment, and how is it priced?
The factory can run in your cloud or ours, with US-hosted model options. Pricing depends on the use case, integrations, data readiness and delivery requirements; we propose deliverables, responsibilities and commercial terms after a scoping conversation.
